I believe (belief does not make it true, but still) that reason for<br>
the front rear bias is because the car is naturally "tail happy".<br>
The difference in pressure is to help keep the car in balance and<br>
not have the tail hang out. ...<br>

Interestingly, the Corvair also had a front/rear pressure<br>
differential for the same reason. It's evil handling reputation came<br>
from people who did not heed the manufacturer's recommendation.<br>
