Webers are good for flat out racing, not stop and go on the street. The 1275 in my Bugeye has had a single HIF 44 carb for several years now. The engine runs great. It's simple to tune and no going crazy trying to balance the carbs. One thing about a single HIF carb, don't use the Mini intake manifold. It's the wrong angle and will contact the bonnet. APT sells the correct manifold for a Sprite/Midget.
