</head><body><p>So, what flare should I use, since the die for the old British bubble flare seems to be unavailable. It’s also important that the rear shoes be adjusted correctly. Macramé adjusters should be backed off only one or two clicks from having the shoes locked. The handbrake should also need only 3-4 clicks to lock the rear brakes. As I recall, you have the shoes oriented correctly and are using the back plate retaining springs. I think you are using 7/8” cylinders in the rear? Major culprit was a new leak at the joining of the flex line and rigid line at the r/f brake caliper. Also some evidence of seepage at the rigid line and brake cylinders of both rear brakes. Tightening fixed the caliper leak. It did not fix the rear leaks.
