I spent all afternoon yesterday putting in new brake shoes with freshly turned drums along with trying to take care of an axle leak on the right side. Turns out the left side had a speedi-sleeve, but the right side did not. I managed to cure the right side leak with a new speedi-sleeve, but now the axle on the left side will not fully seat to make a seal. I think it bottoms out about a 1/16th short of a seal. It's the original axle, so what the heck?
