If the manufacturer can be identified check with their reccomendations . it would make sense that the same torque values would be the same as a cast iron head. But that MIGHT be different with the alloy casting. All my experience is with cast iron stuff. Does the aluminum head use the same specs or are they different? <br> </font></font></p> <p dir="ltr"><font size="+1"><font face="Arial">For the cast iron parts, I torque 10 head studs to 60 lb/ft, the 11th at the front to 25 lb/ft, the 4 rocker pedestals to 25, and the thermostat housing to 8.
