with 1275/Rivergate 5 speed/ aluminum head/1 1/2 " SUs) is
ready for its after-break-in head torque, valve adjustment and
fluid changes. All my experience is with cast iron stuff. Does
the aluminum head use the same specs or are they different? <br>

<p><font size="+1"><font face="Arial">For the cast iron parts, I
torque 10 head studs to 60 lb/ft, the 11th at the front to 25
lb/ft, the 4 rocker pedestals to 25, and the thermostat housing
to 8. I set the valves to .018 cold.</font></font></p>
<p><font size="+1"><font face="Arial">Should I use the same settings
for the aluminum head or use different ones?</font></font></p>
