thicker). I haven't bent one yet. I have bent the standard ones but
that engine did see more regular high rpm than this engine (car had a 4 speed
box in so anything over 100mph need high rpm).</div><span class="">

call on the stock pushrods, Mike. Even with clearance-ing of holes,
there is no real reason to use tubular pushrods. I've had them bend just as
readily as stock ones. I've had the same stock pushrods in my now 10+ year old
race engine for seven years without any issues. The benefits of good oiling
outweigh any marginal benefits the tubular ones offer. I assure you I am
beating my motor harder than just about anyone on the list. Redline oil and
proper clearances are key to extended life at 8000 RPM<br><br>Ron
