<DIV>First thing is to get decent bearings - I think I paid about Ł80 for a good 

set which is many times the price of the rubbish the usual suspects sell.  

You might want to get a spare spacer and measure their exact height - gives you 

an option to remove small amounts on emery paper if you need a very slightly 

shorter spacer to get the pre-load correct.</DIV>

<DIV>Of course if you don't have inspection to worry about and plan on keeping 

cornering speeds below 90 mph+ and top speeds below 120/121 mph you can probably 

live with the cheaper bearings that never reduce all the free play.</DIV>
