Well.  The buyer certainly wasn't after originality.You don't do "upgrades"
during a restoration. It's a mechanical and cosmetic rebuild.I suppose you
could look at it like it would cost more than that to do it to a Bugeye
yourself, especially a checkbook mechanic. My 2 cents, don't mean much.
It's not my money.
