[Spridgets] [External] Driveway protection?

They claim you can clean those - hose it off and use some detergent and a brush - so wouldn't think rain would hurt it.

 I keep my '58 Bugeye outside under a car cover in the driveway during the driving months here in New England.  We had a new driveway put in a couple of years ago made of brick with a granite entry, where the car sits.  I've been putting a rubber tray under it to catch the drips but it's a paint, gotta pull it out before leaving and put it back upon return. I''m a little concerned about what would happen in the rain.
