Steve,
According to several sources when I restored mine, the entire shell was
body color except for the inside of the boot(trunk) and sides were left in
red oxide primer. Some body color overspray may be present. The boot
floor was body color. The front "dumb irons"(frame extensions) in front of
radiator as well as the front facing of the radiator vertical supports are
said to have been painted in non-gloss black. The black on the frame
extensions stops at the base of the radiator supports. Again there was,
probably, some black overspray beyond the support, although not much. Very
few people spray the black because they can't bring themselves to spray
over a wonderful new paint job!
What say the rest of the group?
Regards,
Dave W
