Must be a viscous type with fluid in a chamber.  High tech stuff compared to my Spridgets which have the old fashioned elastomer type damper.  :-)

> Agreed, but it’s a big chunk of machined metal & they said it was a harmonic balancer.  It’s not the stamped pulley like the early A-series. I ordered a HB from England, and that’s what I got. I just assumed that’s what they were all like.
