Stan,
The paddock area at Schenley Park is extremely congested with no easy
ingress/egress other than a one-way lane. It would be very difficult to
cordon off a piece of real estate for a Spridget Village. Remember, it is
not a race track. It's a 150 year old park designed for horses and buggies.
As is my habit of late, I will not be joining you, but can say it is a
unique and thrilling experience where small indiscretions invite major
consequences (a bit like marriage). To all who go: you will NEVER forget
the storm drains, granite curbs, stone walls, bad pavement and 150-foot
ravine drop offs where other tracks would have a sand pit run-off. Enjoy!
And hope to see you guys at Put-in-Bay.
