I have an idea as to what the tool looked like . Been searching the internet and all I keep coming up with are 80's& 90's every day gap gauges. My son inhereted all my father's tools. Oddly I do not recall seeing my father owning the gap setting tool. My father have me the plugs.Chuck

I have never seen one of those outside of text books and photos like the one I sent. I did a little googleing but trying to search for high performance in connection with spark plug is a lost cause. Do you know what the tool might look like? I'll ask around at the shop and see if any of the guys there know.

Far left , high performance. The side electrode is adjustable with a tool that pushed it inward from the side of the plug . that was how they got the gap set.Chuck

I THINK you are talking about a "massive" electrode plug? Which one on the attached photo is it?

Ok you dinosaur types! For my Saab 2 stroke I have some NOS Champion K61R plugs. They have the pressed in side electrode to adjust the gap. There was a tool to press in the electrode to set the gap on these plugs. Anyone even remember these plugs...and if so do you have the tool that set the plug gaps? I am interested in locating that tool.Thank you!Chuck------------------------
