[Spridgets] Midget spring pan

One on my car did that at about 90mph.  I thought what's that metal pinging
noise.  Later that day I had a long drive home at about 40 mph all the
way.  Having no money at the time I had to have it welded back together
(after a fashion) and it it provided many more years of service.  I think I
still have but expect you will find something better your side of the
pond.
