[Spridgets] Does this look right?

I would remove that fitting and replace it with a flush / low profile fitting. you will need a grease gun adapter fitting. plenty of styles for sale on line. Only a couple bucks at the auto parts or on line, but better than having that long neck get broken or through the joint out of balance.
