[Spridgets] Rocker install question

Not certain how you are getting from 
Remove the head bolts to the rocker pillars
to
Adjust the clearance
Would you not have any spring compression and then no adjustment?
Which, if true, means the next step is unlikely :-)

Just checking your math.
