[Spridgets] Is the list really this quiet?

Hi chuck,

I use Facebook for family stuff and have just started adding Spridget folk
as friends. I don't have any personal info in my profile and don't post any
sensitive personal stuff, like when I won the lottery (I didn't), so I
don't worry about it. In the early days many youngsters would post
everything about their life...age, school, job income, sexual activity,
etc. That info is now in Internet history and available for farming by
anyone who wants it.

Think about it. If you post publicly that you will be in Florida for a
week, starting on January 2, somebody could use that info to break into
your house when you are away. If you post that on the Spridgets Team.net
list, you may get invited to dinner while you are there.

There are so many people on Facebook who post stuff like my birthday party
yesterday, that they naturally started interest groups. You just have to be
careful. It is convenient to do all your one-stop posting though.
