No! Not the plant...range of emotions!Mary Anne & I worked fall weatherly hillclimb doing flagging & communication at the finish line.Sunday morning a gentleman who drives a '71 midget to every event and works as the start line "starter" brought bountiful goodies from his spridget parts collection for the Midget project!!A complete ( almost straight too!) front bumper, a rear bumper section with a good guard and the needed carriage bolts & a pair of seat tracks!   To the event in his '71 midget!   WoooooHoooo!  Missing bits , how cool!   As the morning progressed I imagined getting home and unwrapping ( yes He wrapped It all so it did not get dirt in his car and so I could handle it without getting dirty!) it all to see what I got!Right before lunch a corvette lost controll doing about 100mph coming out of the last turn , spinning and bouncing off rocks up the shoulder of the course ....heading our way!   It looked as though it would pass US!   Ummm it sorta did.  It passed about 12" in front of me and Mary Anne was running the right direction when the corvette struck her, knocking her down.   It hit her chair. She has a badly sprained right ankle and some pretty impressive bruises.   We are so thankfull it was not worse.  And it could have turned out far worse.Right now Mary Anne is in bed with an air cast on her ankle.   Me?  Darn glad she was not run over or worse...the vette was flying upon its first impact!   What a bittersweet weekend.ChuckThe saga of the Midget continues...Sent from my LG Mobile
