Oh my where to start?I have bent and flared all-new under hood brake and clutch lines.  The master cylinders are both in the car .  The new clutch slave hose and the NOS slave are in as well. The transmission was just washed to clean bare aluminum last night.  Tonight it got the fork and throw out bearing installed.  I'll probably put The trans in Thursday evening. Now I just got under the rear of the car last weekend.  When I drained the rear axle a HUGE GUSH of water came out first....before gooey gear oil.  Now well before Frank took possession this car had a catastrophic failure at speed somewhere!   The left rear tire came off and the car dropped onto the pavement bring supported by the ends of the rear axle to spring U bolts.  About half an inch of the ends of the bolts has been ground off and about a third of the nuts threaded onto the Ubolts is gone!   And rolls of metal with all the road rash scars to confirm my fears.  One wheel lug stud is missing and there is a race rubber contact Mark on the fiberglass flared fender panel.   Also the body mount for the panhard rod is cracked in half .    I'm replacing the dry rotted spring and shackle bushings.  I have not removed the set of gears , it's stuck like it's glued to the housing.    I Have a 4.22 to put in.  Its getting a set of late style EN17 axles.   I now understand why the car had 1 bent brake drum.  I tried cutting it just to clean it up and I could not cut it!  The drum wobbled so badly , I could not get a solid cut on the lathe without the wobble almost stalling the lathe!   That's seriously bent! This is the kind of stuff that drives people crazy!   I've been digging and digging in my spares for Frank's car.  I'm finding the car quite a challenge!Chuck
