My Spridget will be up for sale after the Grattan event (or before if the money is right, buy it at the track and use my entry). I have some unfinished business in the SCCA ranks and need the funds to complete my H prod Spridget. There will be an extra set of wheels with mounted Hoosiers that go with it and a limited spares package - stuff that I can't use on the SCCA car.
The chassis was done by Rick Haynes, trannie (c/r gear set) by Bob Forsbloom, and the bottom end by Rick Haynes with the cylinder head by George Bachman. I am 6'3" and fit in it very nicely. I will be asking $15,000 for her. Come see it in the Grattan paddock.

I have expanded the email distribution for the 60thand have copied you thinking it would be a good exposure of what a SpriteMidget Race Series Weekend is like.  Wewill have lots of fun and the 60th Spridget Reunion with VSCDA’sELVF as well.
We have lots of fun planned off and on the track GrattanSprite Midget Finale with a little different spin on the awards (Thanks toErick Zanner’s JDM contribution and Jeff Carlos leading the charge on awards)for all that have competed in 2 of the 3 designated tracks (Gman, Blackhawk& Grattan).  We will be selectinganother worthy racer for the Gary Kropf Spirit Award and the Jim Donato SpriteMidget Most Respected Driver Award.  Toreinforce the need for all of us to be predictable, observant, vintage sportscar drivers.  I will be providing aballot that defines the criteria for both of these awards with the luckyhonoree recognized this Sunday. 
Thursday Registration maybe in a little differentlocation.  The track is used by anothergroup and we will not be allowed in Paddock until 6PM.  There will be lots of 60thSpridget Regalia available through registration.
Friday is the Paddock Crawl, which has added to the fun ofsocializing with other racers that we may not be familiar with and making newfriends in a sport we all enjoy.  The crawlstarts with appetizers at one area including Pop, Wine and Micro Brewed Beer (Ithink Perrin maybe the sponsor again this year, which is another great GrandRapids brewery).  They should end up inour Smidget Compound for submarine type sandwiches where we will pull our carsout from the awnings to be displayed, followed by desert in another area.  The Cape Of Good Hope will be open forbusiness as well with a review of upcoming weekend agenda and any discussionsto improve our series and highlights of the ELVF 60th Anniversary ofSpridgets.  We will be toasting herMajesty The Queen and one of our heroes.
I count 15 Spridgets Racing with some new names and a coupleothers expected to join.
We will be the second group out, which is always nice.  We can expect a similar experience to lastyear with lots of track time (minimum of 3 track sessions per day including 4on Friday if you do the Wounded Warrior Enduro, as they say bring extrafuel!  We will have our traditional Saturdayand Sunday Sprite Midget Luncheons with our favorite Sports Car food group“Brats” (It is always appreciated if you can get pre cooked brats or boil priorto showing up so they can brown on the grill more quickly and reduce the amountof grease fires we have).  It is greatlyappreciated when others can assist with grilling responsibilities knowing someof us will be up to our elbows in grease trying to make the next session.  Side dishes are always appreciated as well.  I will provide condiments, plates, napkins& plastic ware.  Please bring enoughfood for you and your crew plus 30% for friends, workers and others that wewill invite to join us. The Cape Of Good Hope Portable British Pub will bebrought out Friday and Saturday Evening for our toasting.  Sunday morning is tentatively scheduled forour Exclusive Sprite Midget Race.  Duringlunch on Sunday we will have our award ceremony.  Points for Grattan sessions are Friday 1stQualification (durability), 1st Sprint Race (durability) and SundaySmidget Race (Wow that is a tongue twister).
I would like to encourage everyone to sign up for theWounded Warrior Enduro you don’t have to stay out for the whole time.  It is a good time to sort out problems ifneeded (not that that would ever happen). Part of your fee will go to this very worthy charity. If you have anextra seat in your car consider providing rides on Sunday for Wounded WarriorsCharity Ride.
I am anticipating a strong presence of Sprites and Midgetsand hoping to repeat last year’s numbers. I am also planning on getting in early to stake out our typical areaSouth down the hill from the Paved Paddock and just East of Toilet Bowl Turnwhere we usually gather.  We will attemptto have a continuous canopy on both sides with enclosed trailers parallel toroad so we can squeeze as many altogether as we can.  If you have a larger canopy plan on invitingsomeone to share your other slot.  We canexpect Group 2 to be crowded again making it more important than ever to keep acool head and keep the Vintage Spirit so we can all enjoy a great weekend offun!!
