Hello John,

     AS you know the "book" says 40 ft.lbs.. Much more and you'll
     break the studs.. I do 42.

     As to tire pressure.. it is important to retain the differential.
     The book shows 2 lbs difference between front and rear, . lower
     in the front IIRC. .. you can go higher, but the ride suffers.
     Essentially the tire sidewall is the suspension as far as comfort
     goes.
