Hope this helps and hope it gets where its supposed to go. I usually lurk but I'll try to get this to the group. This the radiator from my '74 1275. The overflow nipple is about 1" from the bottom edge, or about 1.5" center to center of the rad. hose connection. Be aware that the nipple is really a copper pipe with a 90* angle and it opens at the very top of the tank.
Cheers,Jack

Subject: Re: [Spridgets] Crossflow radiator request I've seen two different positions so not sure which is correct. I'm guessing as near the top as you can get and top or side will all work ok.

Can anyone send me a picture of the top left side of their radiator?Mine was modified a long time ago for no expansion tank and the place for the tank to radiator nipple was filled. I'm going to need to drill it open and solder in a new one.But where?
