[Spridgets] Weber Conversion

It seems like all that I have to do with sidedraft is hang it off of the side of the engine and no fuss for the next 10 years.  Seems like I am always fiddling with SUs much more for everyday driving.
Looks light years better with a nice Cannon manifold.
Just helping.

Other than the coolness factor, what possible advantage is there to running a Weber sidedraft on a stock motored Sprite that's merely street driven?  Seems like a rather large expenditure to me of time, money and a lot of tuning effort that's not going to get you much over a stock set of SUs in good condition.

Hi folks.  I am toying with the idea of going to a Weber carb in place of the HS 2s in my Bugeye.  The engine is a pretty much stock 1275 (1302).  I am thinking about a 40 DCOE or 45 DCOE?  Any words of wisdom from the group relative to the type, tuning tips, etc.?Thanks,John F.------------------------
