[Spridgets] New Lower A-Arms

The bushings need to be replaced after 17 years since the restoration of my Bugeye.  I found a source of new lower A-Arms with a zerk fitting thread welded to the pin side that usually just has a blank plug.  I know some guys will just drill and tap the blank plug, but I was worried it would just be too thin for that.  Additionally the gentleman that makes up these lower A-Arms instructed me to install them to find out exactly where the kingpin centers. This is to keep any side pressure off the the top trunnion and shock arm.  He then needs the A-Arms back and will make some custom delrin bushings to correct thickness to seal off the pivot pin on either side of the kingpin.  This way I can grease both threads independently and the grease will stay contained as opposed to those useless cork gaskets that are gone in no time anyhow.  I was also advised to use polyurethane bushings with silicone grease.  Additionally I will now be able to install a anti-sway bar.  The old Bugeye lowers had no holes or reinforcement for a sway bar.  Can't wait to try this setup out.  See picture of welded fitting.
