[Spridgets] Has anyone tried to fit one of these to a Spridget?

Actually, they were all recalled by the factory after it was discovered
that the gazinta bolts had a recurring rate of shear fractures when the
rubulator valve stuck in the open position due to remnants of the muffler
bearing clogging the orifice when it (muffler bearing) failed under intense
loads. The shift shaft return spring was determined to be the weak link in
the input/output chain of motion flow. The factory tried redistributing the
pressures via a viscous acumpucky compound that was supposed to expand and
contract according to the thermal tendencies similar to raw meat. The
project eventually failed and thus the CVT transmission was born...
