[Spridgets] exhaust vs emergency brake (Pictures)

All serious automotive repair requires a blood sacrifice..  if you are changing a headlight you may get away with only uttering the required mantra of "SONOFABITCH " that hurt but if you are working on a "system" such as brakes or the engine, drawing blood is required.  For serious engine work, a piece of paper towel held to the wound with duct tape may also be required.
