I shipped a Jaguar transmission. Drain the
fluid and lay it flat so there is little height to the package. Put it in a
box, in a box, in a box.  This is done by just wrapping the second and third
boxes by wrapping cardboard from other broken down boxes. Get boxes at local
appliance stores or bicycle shops. The outside box should have some means of
grabbing, like cutting holes in the side like bicycles ship boxes have.  Ship
FedEx as they are cheaper.  Bill in Oregon

    Can anyone recommend the
best way to ship a MG Midget ribcase transmission?   WIll these UPS pack
and ship stores take one?

Thanks, Monty
