That truly is a "Sprogeye Fright".  This is the reason engine swappers get a
bad name.  Hacked up main frame rail, butchered inner fender panels (nice
access port for easy slave cylinder bleeding) and a really interesting mount
for the steering column.  Hard to tell if the V8 swap was ever completed, but
if it was it would be terrifying, and not in a good way.  Looks like it still
has drum brakes, stock rear end with super grippy 5.20-13 tires and a nice
flexible chassis.  The slave cylinder indicates it was set up for a manual
tranny and I can just imagine what this thing would do when the clutch was
dumped. If you're going to pay $4k for the hardtop, pay careful attention for
stress cracks in the top due to torque twisting the whole body structure.
