OK, so take a look at this bugeye that recently sold for $26k

 Lots of stuff that's not correct to people who
know Sprites, but open up the photobucket link and take a look at the receipts
for the resto.  Seller claimed it was a $50k restoration and the receipts seem
to bear that out.

I never
begrudge anyone doing a car in their own style and taste, but this car
appeared ad nauseum in article after article and on club magazine covers and
calendars that it became boring/annoying.
