  Good point on the 5-speed, I had not given that any thought at all.  
It complicates matters in that I have to find one, etc. but since as 
someone already said, the 1275 should have more power then the old 1500, 
a 5-speed should allow to cruise at slow freeway speeds without blowing 
up the motor (not interested in doing average fast lane speeds here in 
Calif. with this car).  Already had brand new brake drums made so I can 
stop the thing from that speed.

   I like the 5-speed idea, I know Mo$$ has one for $$$ but if I 
remember my readings here, I need to find a Datsun or like that (will 
search the archives).
