[Spridgets] Changing radius arm bushings

I did this job a couple of years ago....and  I will shortly be doing them
again...

apparently you should wait until the car is off the jack/hoist and
supporting its own weight before you finally tighten the bolts at each end of
the radius arm..

my bushes have all torn away form the steels because of this
mistake...makes me think that I overtightened the bolts too....

I just changed
all four bushings for the bugeye this morning. Piece of cake. I
used a Harbor
Freight 22mm 1/2" drive socket as a perfect drift, a big mf
hammer, and a 1
1/4" socket upturned beneath the arm as a receiver of the
driven bushing.
Replacement was the reverse of removal. Sure the socket takes
a whupping, but
it's HF, so no loss.  No heat, no cutting, just BFH.
