Thanks for all of your input, it took a thermal shock (I have access to Liquid
Nitrogen, so that part was easy), and a good whack at the parting line with a
screwdriver-turned-wood chisel to get it moving. The DPO put it together with
blue silicone and NO GASKET! no wonder I couldn't find the gasket line.
