Ha!
Slow day in the press room.
Wood wheels on Sprites were rare and wood wheels without a metal rim onto which
the wood was applied were even more rare.
If that weren't enough, the elusive baby seat was so rare, it almost equates to
the Gibson Moderne of guitar fame.

Subject: [Spridgets] Bugeye - Top 10 Deadliest Car
"Like many sports imports, "Bugeye" Healeys were sometimes retrofitted
with
wood-rimmed steering wheels that got all splinter-happy in a wreck. However,
one of the deadliest car designs came from BMC itself: an
optional child
seat. It was little more than a glorified armrest on the transmission
tunnel,
and no, there wasnbt a seat belt. Can you say: binfantile
projectileb?
And in a car that was already tight for two adults, a
squirming kidlet
between them didnbt quite make for a relaxing drive."
