Yes. It will fit. Sprite/Midget-No difference. Actually if he has it on a '74 
Sprite, something is wrong because there is no such thing as a '74 Sprite.

I have been offered a hardtop that used to sit on a '74.  I have a '78
Midget.  Are those years hardtop-compatible?  I didn't ask if he had a
sprite or a midget; I am guessing they're the same.
