I just bought a USB auto diagnostic interface adapter from DX after
reading about them on a few online forums.
I, too, am curious about their products and service.  I probably
woulda bought one of those MP3 players, too, if I'd known about them.
Please let us know how it turns out.  I've been waiting for the usual
suspects (Sony, Pioneer, Alpine) to make a decent, small, non-CD tuner
and media player.  So far I've gotten one from JVC but haven't
installed it, yet.
