[Spridgets] 1960 Bugeye clutch slave bleed?

It is a PITA. When I replaced the slave in my bugeye after pumping the pedal forever and getting nowhere - removed the slave and bench bled it. I was very lucky because I also found metal filings in the cylinder that had not been properly cleaned out.
