Yes, I believe a good chromer can fix it.
But they will charge accordingly.

I've had good results from Frankford in Philadelphia.

Subject: [Spridgets] Re-Chroming Question

The last time I had my car painted was just before LotO in 08. The
neanderthals re-assembling the trim pulled a little too hard om the very top
pin for the Bugeye grill. In fact, they pulled so hard to get the speed nut
tight, they cracked the metal at the peak of the grill. I relieved the
pressure on the pin, but the damage is done. If I get this re-chromed
(expensive these days) can this be fixed by the re-chromer?
