******FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE*******

From: The Zombie Eradication Network (ZEN)
To: All humans in sector 1 (USA)

Subject: Effective Eradication of non humans (zombies) infected with *
Necro-Mortosis*
Sub Topic: Choosing effective caliber or weapon and notice of hording

Extensive research has shown that the most effective means to neutralize a
zombie is through the destruction of the brain. This can come in the form
of a bullet, blunt intrument, sharp intrument, arrow.

***WARNING***
Only use non silenced weapons in areas of minimal Necro-Mortosis activity.
Sectors 3,4,6 and 8 have reported that those infected are alerted to the
sounds of gun fire. It is not known at this time if those infected can hear
or if it is a vibration through the airwaves that stimulates the minimally
active cerebral cortex. The use of non silenced weapons in urban areas has
been shown to cause hording of zombies, immediate extraction of non infected
humans is paramount for survival, only use such weapons in dire emergency.
Sectors 2 and 5 are in rural areas they have reported that as many as 200+
infected individuals have converged on an area that has logged the use of
non silenced weapons. It is the the position of ZEN to urge members to no
longer participate in such practices. Please refer to publication 2-1911
for research results on which caliber of ammunition is most effective. In
summary it has been found that any round larger that .22 is sufficient if
placed in the the cranial cavity (head). If possible the use of 24" machete
or other sharp device such as sword or axe is the preferred method of
neutralization at this time.

It has been found that Spridgets are the least effective mode of
transportation for escape from areas of infection, minimal roof protection
is available in such vehicles while they do provide enhanced handling. Some
areas have reported effective protection from the Morris Minor.
