[Spridgets] Jammed 1500 engine

Sounds like jammed Bendix.  Pull the starter and if Bendix is jammed
try push start.
If it isn't the starter then it could be something major inside the motor.
You can remove the fan belt and try and start the car but you cannot
run the car for more than a minute without the belt.
You may try putting it in a forward gear and rocking the car gently
back and forth, starting with a gentle back push.  If it is a stuck
Bendix it may release.  (Conversely you can try putting it in reverse
and giving a gentle forward nudge, just enough to maybe "unbind" it.)
