[Spridgets] 5 Speed Speedo Drive Washer

Has anyone done a 5 speed conversion with a Paul A. kit recently or have a
exceptional memory? Is there some type of sealing washer between the speedo
drive and the trans where it attaches to the side of the transmission?  During
LotO my speedo drive fell off, but I managed to get it back on without
removing the engine and tranny. My fat hands would not fit. I had to get my
son to do it for me actually.  I am leaking trans fluid into the tunnel that
leaks out the back every time I park uphill (my driveway).  I am also
wondering if it is the rear seal because of the partial engagement of the
driveshaft on the splines.  Anyone having this problem?
