Hydroelectric Dams produce power with zero by-products and run for as long some tree-hugger doesn't get upset about a 0.5" fish that nobody eats!

BTW, in Salmon season, the same Indians that complain about dams causing a decrease in their catch, drive here in trucks and try to sell fresh salmon at $2-$3 a pound -- and get very few takers!
