[Spridgets] License to Watch TV in Britain?

The licenses used to be for the individual TV set not the viewer... At least
it was in the 60s and the 90s....

As to "normal" driving in France - apparently you didn't venture into Paris
and fight off all the 2CVs...    ;-)
