[Spridgets] sterring question

List,

I have a friend who has a 1960 MGA, he was taking an off ramp from the highway
and hit a pot hole with both tires. The steering is now tight, when he is
driving the car and makes a left or right turn the steering wheel doesn't want
to come back to centre.
The car has a brand new from end with about 1000 miles on it. We jacked up the
car nothing looks bent.

Anyone have any suggestions what the problem could be??
