Believe it or not, although not the "Reliant", back in the early 1960's the
Plymouth Valiant was often seen entered in SCCA gymkhanas, autocrosses, and
even local club races! (As were Corvairs and VWs.)  The term "sports car"
was very ill-defined back then!
