Yup, a friend tried to get me to read a book, a title I can never remember,
that goes on and on about man thinking that he has engineered to overcome
nature and every damn time nature wins.  The fact that we have not witnessed a
bigger earthquake or bigger tsunami or stronger tornado or hurricane does NOT
mean that it hasn't happened before or will not happen in the future.

Design to 200% above the worst known natural problem to date and you will be
under designing.
