[Spridgets] Horn button question

It is grounded to the side of the steering wheel which is metal. This is
grounded though the shaft of the steering column. There are a couple of
clips with teeth on the horn button that bite into the steering wheel and
retain the horn button. - Jim

I appreciate the help on this, but I understand the circuit from the brush
going to the horn.  All of that works.  What I don't see is how the spring
clip on the side of the horn button is supposed to make contact with a
ground.  If it is supposed to make contact with the column or the nut
holding the wheel on, I don't see how this happens.

I believe I have an original wheel, but I'm not sure of that.  Someone
mentioned there should be something cast into the wheel.  The only thing
cast into my wheel I believe is the spline itself and I cannot see how the
clip is supposed to make contact with that.
