So if you just use the $60 aluminum jack for light cars is the consensus it works or does not work? I am looking for a low jack so I no longer need to drive the bugeye on ramps to get the jack underneath.

You misunderstood, derf. He was talking about the small furniture
dollies, not the car dollies. The small f dollies do work quite well
on Spridgets.
