It is a big problem. China is now "importing" wives from North Korea and other southeast asian countries. It is not a long term problem since the impact is now withj many 20+ year olds unable to find a mate. It may be the factior that destabilizes the Chinese ruling party.

with a one-baby policy where males are favored and female babies not always
