Peter,

I remember a place in Madison called "Whiskey A Go Go" or something like 
that.  I went there in the early 70's and it was $5 cover and BYOB because 
they lost their liquor license in an attempt to shut them down.  Setups were 
$3 and the place was packed.  One of their acts was Witchy Woman who could 
"blow" out a candle the hard way!  Those were the days!!  I'll bet it is 
long gone now...
